The Figure

By day, she’s a mild clerk working for Berlint City Hall, but, in actuality, the deadly assassin is far better known as “Thorn Princess.” This job is humdrum, while in reality, Yor’s real work is that of a killer using this job as the perfect disguise in her covert activities. Things get complicated in Yor’s life when she marries a spy named Loid Forger and adopts Anya to create a family that can help them keep up their disguises. This setup allows Yor to keep people from suspecting her of being an unmarried woman in Ostania, which might raise suspicions of her being a spy. Despite the deadly skills she possesses, Yor can’t even cook, adding to the comedy of trying to fit into family life. She truly loves her adopted daughter Anya and struggles with the balance between her roles of mother and assassin, getting into comic predicaments many times.
