For many adult collectors, Batman: The Animated Series was their childhood introduction to the legend of the Dark Knight, especially his awesome vehicle. So when Jazzinc decided to recreate the Batmobile in 1/6 scale, the team approached the task with deep respect and caution from the outset.
After all, the bar set by series creator Bruce Timm and his Emmy-winning team was almost as high as the expectations of ardent fans – they demanded a collectible that was faithful to the animated image and seemed to jump directly from the TV screen into the display cabinet
Faced with the challenge of adapting a 2D animated image into a 1/6 scale collectible for the first time, Jazzinc threw itself into the production of the Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile with the same focus and professionalism as it would recreate a live-action film and television IP collectible. The end result is as follows:
