Background
In the Yuan Dynasty, only daughters of the imperial family held the title of “Princess,” and they were ranked by their relationship to the Emperor:

All three received golden edicts and royal stipends. Lower-ranked noblewomen were categorized based on lineage: Commandery Princess, County Princess, Lady of Commandery, County Lady, and Village Lady.
